Job summary

IHOP in Oklahoma is seeking a General Manager to direct daily unit operations, develop staff, and maintain guest satisfaction. You will implement training programs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with food safety, safety, and SOP standards.

The role requires leadership to promote guest service excellence and consistent restaurant performance. The General Manager will supervise hourly employees, work closely with management teams, and strive to meet annual objectives for guest experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurants marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned unit as defined by SOP and operations plan.
• Manage the restaurant floor and focus on regular contact with guests; handle guest complaints professionally and timely.
• Recruit, train and retain employees as defined by SOP and operations plan; conduct coaching and administer the restaurant hourly compensation plan.
• Ensure food safety and SOP compliance in ingredients, recipes, plating, and temperatures; maintain supplies and inventory.
• Ensure proper equipment condition, safety, sanitation, and OSHA-related procedures; maintain cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.
• Perform other duties as assigned
