Job summary

IHOP is seeking a General Manager to direct the operation of an assigned unit, driving guest experience and financial performance. The role focuses on implementing training programs, maintaining staff with coaching and performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulations.

As GM, you will manage the floor, handle guest feedback, and coordinate menus, inventory, and safety practices while leading a team of hourly employees and shift supervisors in a fast-paced restaurant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience or training.
• Experience in restaurant operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees.
• Execute annual financial, local marketing, guest service and HR objectives per SOP.
• Manage the restaurant floor and maintain guest satisfaction; address complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.
• Recruit, train and coach employees; administer performance appraisals and merit increases.
• Oversee food quality, inventory, and equipment compliance; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
