Job summary

Jack in the Box is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee unit operations, ensuring excellent guest service, food quality, and regulatory compliance. You will drive team development, apply the Service Profit Chain, and maintain a clean, safe environment while delivering sales and profit growth.

You will manage staffing, training, and performance, acting as a role model for guest service and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required.
• Experience - Internal Promote: Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years experience as a First Assistant Manager; must be 100% certified in all workstations.
• External Recruit: Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must be at least 18 years old; must complete Restaurant Manager training classes; must be ServSafe certified.
• Requires ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to perform and understand basic math concepts; self-starter and responsible.
• Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and travel to other locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees; ensures compliance with labor laws.
• Manages daily operations to deliver guest service and food quality per standards; handles guest concerns.
• Analyzes operations and profitability; focuses on increasing sales and protecting the brand; monitors budget adherence.
