Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee Front of House and Back of House operations, ensuring Legendary Food and Legendary Service at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hourly employees with performance evaluations and coaching.
• Experience interviewing, hiring, and recommending hourly staff.
• Ability to set hours, weekly schedules, and assign tasks for open hours.
• Focus on driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Experience training Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures and food safety.
• Create a safe, clean, and positive work environment for the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage hourly employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching and discipline.
• Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend to hire hourly employees.
• Direct work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant.
• Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Provide, direct, and schedule Front of House and Back of House training.
• Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures.
• Conduct formal line Taste & Temps.
• Enforce appropriate security measures at the restaurant so that the safety of our employees and guests are maintained at all times.
• Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory.
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals.
