Job summary

North Italia in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, full-service setting. You will oversee scheduling, guest experience, and staff performance to uphold our hospitality standards.

You will report to the General Manager and collaborate with kitchen teams to ensure food quality and service excellence. The role requires long shifts, weekend availability, and a focus on continuous improvement, team development, and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials.
• Dependable, reliable, and motivated.
• Able to work ten-hour plus shifts, and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to work closing shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; capable of reaching overhead.
• Prior POSitouch, Crunchtime and OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts including scheduling, daily decision making and planning.
• Understand flavors, wines, and guest experience standards.
• Handle on-the-fly requests with poise and create a calm work environment.
• Foster ongoing learning, feedback, and corrective action.
• Work the floor to improve service, assist the team, and improve table turns.
• Collaborate with kitchen to evaluate prep levels and food quality.
• Run the restaurant as if it were your own.
