Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group seeks a Restaurant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Eau Claire, WI. The RGM provides leadership and supervision for a profitable operation, ensuring cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, product quality, and speed of service.

They train staff and role-model strong skills on site. Responsibilities include staffing, performance appraisals, hiring, coaching, compliance, guest issue resolution, and financial controls to drive sales growth and safety

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old or older.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
Legal right to work in the United States.
Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
Basic math and reading skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
Comes to work with good hygiene.
Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

Ensures cost categories including food cost, labor cost, cash and controllable expenses are controlled to budgets.
Work within restaurant to drive sales growth by improving key metrics such as speed of service, food quality, and guest experience.
Maintain adequate staffing levels for all days and shifts and meet scheduling requirements.
Prepare and conduct crew member, shift manager, and assistant general manager performance appraisals.
Handle hiring for new crew, shift leaders, and assistant GMs.
Coach and train staff to achieve certifications and performance targets.
Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization per sanitation guidelines.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
Keep the environment safe for employees and guests and take corrective action as needed.
Oversee preventative maintenance and report repairs to appropriate channels.
Provide timely feedback to area coach via daily calls and weekly meetings.
Manage turnover through sound selection and training and by fostering a positive work environment.
Prepare food as needed and manage cash register operations when required.
