Flanigan’s is seeking a hiring manager to lead daily kitchen operations and drive performance across management teams. The role demands clear communication, attendance at regular meetings, and strict adherence to health code standards.

You will oversee scheduling, documentation, and evaluations while ensuring accurate reporting to management. The position requires a current food management certification, ownership mindset, and flexibility to relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Current food management certification is required.
• Ownership mentality and leadership capability are essential.
• Scheduling flexibility; business operates 365 days a year.
• Willingness to transfer to a different location as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Vacations scheduled April–November; must be taken or forfeited.
• Proficiency in basic math, currency handling, and calculator use.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand and enforce health code standards.
• Adhere to company hiring policies and conduct timely interviews.

Responsibilities

• Communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day.
• Read and write notes in the manager’s daily log in English.
• Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings.
• Read the weekly memo and complete weekly/monthly evaluations.
• Communicate with management of the shift end and provide accurate reports.
• Maintain honest, accurate reporting of events; follow policies and directives.
• Attend quarterly supervisor meetings.
