Job summary

IHOP seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee front- and back-of-house operations with a strong focus on profitability and guest satisfaction. You will lead staff, implement SOPs, and drive sales growth while maintaining IHOP quality and service standards.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, recruiting and training, and ensuring compliance with safety and SOPs. You must be available for days, nights, and weekends to support restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety and operating instructions; write routine reports.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and HR objectives per IHOP SOP and operations plan.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with hourly employees and the franchisee organization.
• Manage restaurant floor with regular guest contact.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly to keep complaint frequency low.
• Ensure recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security comply with SOP.
• Carry out supervisory duties: recruitment, training, directing workflow, performance appraisal, rewards and discipline.
