Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is hiring an Assistant Manager in Diamond Bar, CA. This role works with the General Manager to oversee daily ops, coordinate team communication, and drive sales while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will recruit, train, and supervise FOH & BOH staff, ensure food safety and quality, manage schedules and inventories, and uphold company standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A strong leader with a passion for people is needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in food service management.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule.
• Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding FOH & BOH Team Members.
• Supervise training and development of FOH & BOH Team Members.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Train and educate team on procedures, promotions, and equipment changes.
• Conduct 1-on-1 succession planning with team members.
• Manage daily restaurant operations and labor costs to meet goals.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory; place orders as needed.
• Open/close shifts and ensure consistent customer experience.
