Job summary

The Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations, upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role involves managing onboarding, payroll, staff scheduling, coaching, and assisting with opening/closing, cash handling, and safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hire and terminate all hourly non-management crewmembers.
• Own onboarding, status change and payroll for hourly crewmembers.
• Create crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manage performance through coaching and documentation.
• Open and close the restaurant as manager on duty.
• Ensure cash handling accountability and safety standards.
