Job summary

The Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations while upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture. This role oversees onboarding, scheduling, payroll and performance management for hourly crewmembers.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized with strong communication skills.
• Experience managing and coaching hourly crewmembers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status change and payroll for hourly crewmembers.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages performance of hourly crewmembers (coaching, documented feedback).
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
• Enforces policies and standards and conducts shift meetings.
• Uses tools and logs to support shift execution and corrective actions.
• Delivers exemplary customer service and uses rewards programs.
• Authorizes manager-level discounts and promotions.
• Ensures cleanliness and proper facility upkeep.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
