Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Operations Technology Person to repair and maintain restaurant tech across our locations in East Point, GA. This role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting of POS systems and performing OS upgrades, with on-site or phone support as needed.

It requires transportation and a willingness to work occasional evenings or early mornings. Starting salary is negotiable based on experience, and the benefits package includes education through Archways, medical/dental/vision,

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as a Restaurant OTP.
• Transportation is absolutely required.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain technology equipment in 21 restaurants.
• Perform self-installs and OS upgrades where needed.
• Troubleshoot POS technology issues and outages.
• Provide resources, tools, and support for new technologies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
• Ensure proper cable management and safety.
• Communicate technology issues, outcomes, and costs weekly.
• Set up new hire accounts and reset passwords as necessary.
• Occasional weekend work and late/early shifts may be required.
• On-site or phone-based troubleshooting as required.
