Job summary

Major Food Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support its restaurant operations in the South region (Florida and Dallas). Reporting to the Sr.

HR Manager, you will manage HR administration, payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, and policy rollout across sites. You will partner with restaurant leadership, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and help drive talent development.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with benefits administration preferred.
• Experience with HR compliance, payroll, and policy implementation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle all administrative aspects of Human Resources.
• Serve as main point of contact for restaurants on HR questions including payroll, compliance, and security access.
• Assist the HR Director and HR Managers as needed.
• Assist with new policy implementation.
• Oversee benefits enrollment for new hires.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws including sick leave and wellness regulations.
• Manage data related to benefits plan eligibility in UKG and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to unemployment claims, paid family leave, and workers’ comp claims.
• Support employee relations and HR communications between restaurants and corporate.
