Job summary

SA Hospitality Group in Florida is seeking a People Generalist (HR) to support restaurant management and staff across onboarding, payroll, performance management, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. The role requires fluency in Spanish and strong knowledge of labor laws, with on-site work across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will modernize HR processes and act with confidentiality and precision under the Vice President of People.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or relevant field (or equivalent experience/education).
• Two years’ experience in Human Resources (hospitality preferred).
• Strong MS Office proficiency and experience with HR technology (HRIS, timekeeping, ATS).
• Excellent reading, writing and spoken English; Spanish fluency is required.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in HR matters.
• Capable of working well individually and as part of a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires and manage on-site onboarding at all locations.
• Prepare and submit weekly payroll and maintain related templates and direct deposits.
• Coach managers on performance management and handle disciplinary processes.
• Serve as HR liaison to employees; respond to questions, manage PTO, pay stubs, and letters.
• Administer benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and workers compensation coordination.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws; conduct audits and maintain employee records.
• Collaborate on HR incentives, policies, and special projects.
