Job summary

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the Hardee’s operation in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage the restaurant team, drive sales growth, maintain quality, service, and cleanliness, and ensure profitability through strategic labor and cost controls. You will hire, train, and develop staff, supervise daily activities, uphold safety and sanitation standards, handle cash, and represent the company with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager.
• Strong conflict-resolution, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and lead the restaurant team.
• Ensure sales growth by maintaining the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness with a focus on profitability.
• Interview and hire qualified staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Schedule sufficient staff to meet guest flow and manage labor costs within company standards.
• Train the management team and crew using the current training system; evaluate performance and design development plans.
• Foster a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with staff and management; provide coaching and discipline as warranted.
• Assist with crew duties when needed.
• Lead crew and management meetings to discuss operations, promotions, safety, security, and training.
• Maintain adequate inventory and control it to meet the company food-cost variance standard.
• Maintain reports and records in compliance with company standards, state and federal regulations.
• Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Be responsible for all cash and ensure adherence to cash procedures.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and displays professionalism at all times.
• Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
• Consistently exhibit actions and behaviors that best demonstrate BNE’s vision and values, perform other tasks as directed.
