Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Massillon, OH seeks a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead daily restaurant operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance, while controlling costs and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

The role requires high school diploma (advanced studies preferred) and at least three years of management experience in a restaurant, preferably QSR, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach, lead, schedule, and discipline staff.
• Manage compensation levels according to company guidelines.
• Oversee all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle opening and/or closing duties.
• Escalate guest issues and employee concerns appropriately.
• Forecast and adjust food, labor, inventory for cost-control and quality.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain records.
• Prepare operational reports and monitor vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Maintain sanitation and routine cleaning per standards.
• Attend to regular attendance and shift coverage.

Education
