Job summary

Papa Johns in Louisville, KY is seeking a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa Johns restaurant, drive profitability, planning, forecasting, and ensure policies and systems are in place.

The GM leads Operations Managers, Shift Leaders, and team members, ensures compliance with laws, and partners with local markets to deliver quality service and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification.
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills.
• Bilingual in certain markets.
• Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards, address deficiencies, and respond to customer concerns.
• Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions; coach and develop team.
• Manage sales against budget with local marketing and community presence.
• Control costs using the FOCUS System and manage inventory to meet demand and minimize loss.
• Ensure safety, security, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
