Job summary

IHOP is seeking a General Manager in Spring, TX for a full-time leadership role. You will oversee financials, guest services, HR, and daily restaurant operations to drive performance and guest satisfaction.

You will lead staffing, training, compliance, and SOP adherence while ensuring food quality, inventory, and safety standards. The position requires adapting to varying schedules and promoting from within the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid drivers license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual financial objectives, local restaurant marketing, guest service and HR objectives.
• Manage restaurant floor and maintain regular contact with guests.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations; recruit, train and retain employees.
• Coach staff, follow SOPs, and manage hourly compensation and performance issues.
• Oversee food SOPs, recipes, plating, and proper temperatures within standard ticket times; manage inventory and supplies.
• Ensure equipment, premises and sanitation meet standards; implement national/local promotions.
• Complete reports and paperwork for proper documentation and communication.
