Job summary

IHOP is seeking a full-time General Manager in College Station to lead daily restaurant operations, guest service, and staff development. You will oversee marketing activities, financial objectives, and compliance with SOPs, while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating staff, managing inventory and scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant floor and guest interactions to ensure high service levels.
• Oversee recruitment, training and retention of employees.
• Coach staff and administer the hourly compensation plan.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and reports are completed for proper documentation.
• Monitor food quality, temperature, inventories and supplier orders.
• Maintain sanitation, safety and regulatory compliance across the unit.
