Job summary

The Burger King franchise is hiring a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to oversee daily restaurant operations in Houston, TX, supervising 10-45 employees and ensuring guest satisfaction, sales, profitability, and retention.

The RGM leads the management team, maintains financial controls, staff development, and compliance. Will work long or irregular shifts and report to a District Manager, coordinating with field operations and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Complete all internal certification programs.
• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P-L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• The RGM has overall responsibility for managing daily restaurant operations (10-45 employees) and guest satisfaction.
• Leads the restaurant management team and oversees financial controls, operations, people development, and guest service.
• Works long and irregular shifts as needed to ensure proper restaurant functioning.
• Directly manages Team Members, Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers under a District Manager.
• Interacts with restaurant staff, management, DM-s, customers, and outside vendors.
