Pura Vida Miami is seeking a driven General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, motivate a diverse team, and maintain exceptional guest experiences. The role emphasizes strong leadership, hygiene, and efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of hospitality management, solid communication skills, and the ability to multitask while upholding health and wellness priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• College education is preferred, but not required.
• Hard-working, enthusiastic leader with strong communication, organizational & problem-solving skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Passionate about health and wellness is a bonus.
• Must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• Advanced typing/basic knowledge of Excel and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and direct team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.
• Oversee inventory management, labor allocation, and utilizes financial analysis to optimize restaurant performance.
• Handle daily ordering and invoicing at the store level.
• Provide training and mentorship for new employees and managers across all restaurant stations, leveraging team collaboration.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations.
• Uphold and reinforce all procedures and policies at the store level.
• Organize, schedule, and supervise team member shifts.
• Maintain a strong floor presence to oversee customer service.
• Direct staff to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
• Monitor and manage the expo station to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Lead by example in providing exemplary customer service and addressing concerns.
