Job summary

Bob Evans Restaurants is hiring a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop the team, and drive guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes P&L management, sales growth, and maintaining high food and service standards.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies, and optimize labor and inventory management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; leadership experience in a family/fast-food/casual dining setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guest service orientation.
• Basic business math and accounting understanding; capable of P&L awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations and staff according to company policies and procedures.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise employees; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Build an engaged culture; coach and mentor team to ensure guest satisfaction and success on the job.
• Drive sales, meet goals, and manage profitability; monitor food, labor, and other controllable costs.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards; ensure a safe environment for guests and crew.
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, and use of labor scheduling tools; maintain proper equipment usage.
