Job summary

Burger King is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Houston, TX area to oversee daily restaurant operations, staff, and profitability. The role requires leading a management team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing financial controls across shifts.

The position involves long hours when needed, with responsibility for hiring, training, and maintaining compliance within the restaurant, under district supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Complete all internal certification programs.
• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of profitability through P-L interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a single restaurant (10–45 employees) to satisfy guests and drive sales and profitability.
• Lead the restaurant management team; oversee financial controls, operations, development, guest service and compliance.
• Work long/irregular shifts as needed to ensure proper functioning of the restaurant.
• Directly manage Team Members, Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers under a District Manager.
