Job summary

Burger King is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations and drive guest satisfaction at a Houston area restaurant. You will lead the management team, monitor financials, and ensure compliance, quality, and team development across all shifts.

The role requires 1–2 years of restaurant management experience, HR and scheduling savvy, and a strong sense of accountability. Shifts may be long and irregular, with collaboration across district leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Complete all internal certification programs.
• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
• Ability to prioritize and organize own and others' work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• The RGM has overall responsibility for managing daily operations of a single restaurant (10–45 employees).
• Leads the restaurant management team and oversees financial controls, operations, people development, guest service and brand compliance across all shifts.
• Should be able to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed.
• Directly manages Team Members, Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers.
• Interacts with restaurant team members, management, district management, customers and outside vendors.
