Job summary

IHOP in Mustang, OK is seeking a General Manager to direct all operations of the unit, lead guest service, and ensure SOP adherence. The role includes coaching, training, scheduling, compliance, and budget supervision to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will recruit and develop staff, drive local marketing, and maintain safety and food quality standards while managing costs and equipment in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of guests; communicate effectively with employees.
• A valid Driver’s License to drive on Company business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, marketing, guest service, and HR objectives for the unit per SOP and operations plan.
• Manage the restaurant floor and maintain contact with guests; address complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for the unit.
• Recruit, train and retain employees; manage performance appraisals and merit increases; document performance issues.
• Ensure food safety and SOP compliance in recipes, plating, and temperature; maintain quality presentation.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment; manage par levels and ordering; minimize waste.
