Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Southaven, MS is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations, training teammates, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. You will supervise team members, schedule shifts, monitor inventory and costs, and help deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and a track record in restaurant management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations and staff.
• Train and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Direct and assign employees to meet service standards; ensure safety, cleanliness and quality.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory and administrative duties.
• Support guest service and respond to guest requests to ensure a positive experience.
