Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Cleveland, MS is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and support team members to ensure safe, clean, and efficient service and to deliver a great guest experience.

The role requires leadership, scheduling, inventory oversight, and hands-on guidance to maintain service quality and cost controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Restaurant management experience (QSR) or retail management experience required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Willingness to follow policies and maintain standards.
• Ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops to deliver quality service.
• Directs and assigns staff to ensure food service meets operational standards.
• Adheres to and monitors employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost controls.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Maintains files, records and required documentation.
• Reinforces customer service mindset and focuses on guest experience.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and helps resolve complaints.
