Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Mississippi is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily drive‑in operations and support the General Manager in delivering quality food and a safe, clean dining experience. You will train crew, monitor service standards and assist with inventory, scheduling and guest relations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays and a willingness to maintain the Sonic appearance and policies.

Qualifications

• Experience managing restaurant teams in a fast‑paced environment (QSR) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coach staff and resolve guest issues.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in managing drive‑in restaurant operations.
• Trains and supports Team Members, Carhops and other staff.
• Directs staffing and scheduling to meet service standards.
• Monitors inventory, food costs and safety compliance.
• Performs opening and closing duties as needed.
• Maintains records and supports administrative tasks.
