Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in Apex, NC is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations, coach the team, and partner with the management team to uphold Circle K standards and guest satisfaction.

In this role you’ll lead team members during shifts, ensure food safety and quality, manage cash and inventory records, and complete daily paperwork while maintaining a safe, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Full time required; availability during all hours of operation and at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing required
• Valid state Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner; coaches and corrects team
• Assigns shift duties to team members and follows up to ensure completion
• Directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations
• Coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
• Cascades relevant information to team members and assists with new product training
• Responsible for placing campaign materials upon request
• Ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
• Monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift
• Completes end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required
• Communicates any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
• In absence of the RM, the RAM completes daily, weekly and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties as required
• Guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
• Completes reports on all incidents following our 5-minute rule policy
• Partners with the RM and takes ownership to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant
