Job summary

SONIC Drive-In Assistant Manager assists the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so guests will have an enjoyable experience at the SONIC Drive-In.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing great people, ensuring guest satisfaction, coaching for performance, managing labor and food costs, conducting inventory, and performing opening or closing duties as needed while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and develop team members to deliver a SuperSONIC experience.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits by maintaining high service standards.
• Manage staffing, inventory, and costs, and perform opening/closing duties as needed.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across shifts.
