Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations, staffing and training. You will help ensure fast, friendly service, food safety, and a clean dining environment, while guiding team members to meet performance standards.

The role requires flexible hours, a restaurant or retail supervisory background, and strong communication and multitasking abilities to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in restaurant management or supervised retail experience.
• Strong communication and numerical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations and staff.
• Train, coach and monitor Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties and manage staffing and inventory.
• Support customer service and promptly resolve guest requests or complaints.
