Job summary

Cafua Management Company is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in North Kingstown, RI to support the Restaurant Manager in developing a capable team and delivering great guest experiences while driving profitable top-line sales.

You will recruit, hire, onboard and coach crew and shift leaders, ensure training is completed per guidelines, uphold Brand standards and food safety, monitor labor and inventories, and lead action plans based on guest feedback to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and cash handling ability.
• Ability to count money and make change.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for 6+ hours.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintaining staffing levels.
• Communicate job expectations and ensure training per company guidelines.
• Hold team members accountable for behavior and performance; address concerns promptly.
• Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment; enforce safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed; fulfill Red Book responsibilities.
• Help prepare and implement action plans; oversee production, productivity, quality and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and restaurant assessments; implement improvements.
