Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run a high-volume, quick service restaurant within a travel center in Virginia. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and oversee day-to-day operations to maintain service quality and efficiency.

The role requires team leadership, strong customer service, integrity and accountability, with at least a high school diploma and 1+ year of food service management experience. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one-year food service management experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members to ensure smooth operations.
• Create a positive work environment for team members and uphold standards.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness and food safety.
