Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a highly-skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run our fast-paced travel-center restaurants. You will support the Restaurant General Manager, coach team members, assign work, accelerate service, and maintain high guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and safety in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least one year of food-service management, and a flexible schedule.

• Minimum one-year food service management experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members.
• Create a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment.
