Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run daily restaurant operations, ensuring friendly service and quality food in a clean, inviting environment. You will work closely with the District Manager and team to uphold standards.

The ideal candidate is personable, a self-starter and a strong team leader with at least 1 year of assistant management experience in high-volume food service, flexible to weekend shifts, and ready to coach staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the guidance of the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire and orientate team members.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a friendly, family environment in the restaurant.
