Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to assist with daily restaurant operations, ensuring friendly service, great food, and a clean, inviting environment. The role supports the General Manager and works with the District Manager to uphold standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with strong leadership, scheduling, and customer service skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum Assistant Manager experience, high volume food service preferred
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver's License and access to private transportation
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making, customer service oriented

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under General Manager
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Coach, counsel, and develop staff and manage team relations
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety inspections are met
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant
