Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering the brand’s legendary Southern hospitality. You will lead shifts, drive guest satisfaction, and help manage labor and costs while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in restaurant/retail management, a hands-on leadership style, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• People-first leadership style with hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Love for fast-paced environments and great food.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence, ensuring speed, accuracy, and guest experiences.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Help with hiring, onboarding and training of new team members.
