Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach the crew, and deliver legendary Southern hospitality. You’ll partner with the Restaurant General Manager to run shifts, maintain quality, and uphold brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in restaurant or retail management (QSR a plus), strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus).
• People-first leadership with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver great guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
