Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, coach the crew, and deliver the brand’s legendary Southern hospitality. You’ll partner with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure smooth service, strict food safety, and strong guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of restaurant or retail management (QSR a plus), a hands-on leadership style, excellent communication, and the ability to train and develop team members while managing labor and costs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus!)
• A people-first leadership style with a hands‑on, lead‑by‑example approach
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• A love for fast‑paced environments and great food
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs preferred

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
