Job summary

Maggiano's Little Italy is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep the restaurant running smoothly, support the management team, and energize Teammates. You will ensure guests have memorable experiences while learning all aspects of the operation for future growth into Restaurant Manager roles.

You will receive hands-on coaching, real accountability, and opportunities to advance. This role requires leadership, dedication, and a passion for hospitality and guest service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service.
• Ability to lead by example and energize a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, with varying temperatures, noise, and peak-hour demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional Guest experiences
• Coach and motivate Teammates to deliver outstanding service and food quality
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards
• Handle Guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first approach
• Support hiring, training, and development of new Teammates
• Partner with managers on scheduling, labor management, and restaurant initiatives
