Job summary

At Maggiano's Little Italy, the Assistant Manager leads shifts, supports the management team, and energizes Teammates to deliver memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You'll receive hands-on coaching, learn all aspects of restaurant operations, and have opportunities to advance into Restaurant Manager roles across Brinker brands as you grow your leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Guest service.
• Ability to lead by example and energize a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to perform essential job functions in a dynamic restaurant environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and peak-hour demands.
• Able to move throughout the restaurant, retrieve items from shelves and storage areas, and transport supplies weighing up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional Guest experiences
• Coach and motivate Teammates to deliver outstanding service and food quality
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards
• Handle Guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first approach
• Support hiring, training, and development of new Teammates
• Partner with managers on scheduling, labor management, and restaurant initiatives
