Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and deliver friendly, efficient service with great food in a clean, inviting environment.

You will work closely with the General Manager and team to uphold standards, manage schedules, train staff, and ensure top guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting. This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high volume food service preferred.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver-s license and access to private transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Coach and develop staff and manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections standards are met.
• Set a positive tone for a fun, family environment.
