Vibra Healthcare, LLC. seeks a PRN Respiratory Therapist for a Long Term Acute Care facility in Madisonville, Kentucky. The role involves delivering respiratory care, operating ventilators, and collaborating with physicians to support adult and geriatric patients.

Applicants must be licensed in the state, hold current BLS, obtain ACLS within 90 days, and maintain licensure throughout employment. Prior experience with LTAC settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice by the state as a Respiratory Practitioner.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Maintain licenses and certification for the duration of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provides care for adult or geriatric patients, 18 years and older.
• Operates and monitors respiratory care equipment per physician orders.
• Ventilator setup, monitoring, and weaning under physician direction.
• Perform trach care and change trach tubes per policy.
• Document treatments and patient responses in charts and MARs.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and participate in related studies.
• Attend departmental meetings as required.
