Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to support adult and geriatric patients with diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care. You will set up and operate ventilators, administer oxygen therapies, and collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality care.

The role requires licensed respiratory practice, BLS at hire, and ACLS within 90 days. You will document patient education and treatment responses, and participate in routine department activities and safety

Qualifications

Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of employment.
BLS required at hire; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
Maintain licenses and certifications for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

Provide care for adult or geriatric patients (18+).
Explain treatments and document education in patient charts.
Set up, operate and monitor respiratory care equipment as prescribed by physician.
Set up and manage ventilators, participate in vent-weaning per physician direction.
Record treatments and patient responses in respiratory care records and MARs.
Perform trach care and manage suction devices per policy.
Process respiratory equipment sterilization and cleaning.
Conduct arterial/venous blood gas analysis and document results.
Participate in monthly Respiratory Care department meetings.
