Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Practitioner in the state of employment.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS within 90 days.
• Maintain licenses and certifications for duration.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment per physician orders.
• Manage ventilators, assist in weaning per protocols.
• Document treatments and patient responses in charts.
• Perform trach care and tube changes per policy.
• Administer therapies: nebulizers, oxygen devices.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and interpret results.
• Attend departmental meetings.
