Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure in MA.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of pulmonary care within therapist scope.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors effects.
• Assess patient pain affecting rehabilitation participation.
• Follows infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Documents patient data in medical records and tracks program progress.
• Operates and inspects respiratory therapy equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Educates patients and families, including learning plans and progress.
• Coordinates care with nurses, DON, administrators, and physicians.
• Oversees daily shift operations as in-charge therapist.
