Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist licensure in MA.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Assesses patient pain interfering with rehabilitation participation.
• Follows infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Formulates care plans and educates patients and families.
• In charge of daily shift operations and coordination with nursing staff.

Education

Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist licensure

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy

Active RRT credential

ACLS and BLS certification
