Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional to cover Cincinnati and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes scientific knowledge, payer landscape understanding, and strong customer engagement with specialists in asthma and related therapies.

You will build account plans, collaborate with Marketing, Payer Relations, and Medical teams, and travel as needed to meet customers. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in pharma or B2B sales are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically, including overnight/weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography; no relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and refer to appropriate resources for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge of severe asthma therapeutic expertise and evolving guidelines.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales and implement account plans.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources and provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and needs.
