Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a field-based Territory Sales professional to cover Dayton area and surrounding Ohio cities. The role emphasizes scientific literacy, customer engagement, and strategic account planning to drive biologic product adoption.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Payer Relations, and Medical teams to optimize reimbursement, access, and patient outcomes while traveling within the territory. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography.
• No relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and refer to appropriate resources for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge and data with respect to severe asthma therapeutic expertise.
• Provide product educational programs/in‑services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and implement strategies for each customer within an account.
• Maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources (i.e., financial).
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customers' requests, inquiries and needs.
