Methodist Hospital Westover Hills seeks a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) to assess and treat patients with pulmonary disorders. You will manage ventilators, administer therapies, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient plans.

The role requires ABG analysis, adherence to physician orders, and timely documentation. Texas Licensure as an RCP, NBRC credentials, and BLS/ACLS completion are essential to join our care team.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program is required.
• Current Texas license to practice Respiratory Care is required.
• RRT or CRT credentials from NBRC are required (CRT grandfathered if pre‑2002).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timeframe.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and set up respiratory care devices including ventilators and related equipment.
• Provide emergency care including ventilation and CPR support.
• Collect and analyze arterial blood gases; monitor therapy response and adjust as needed.
• Follow physician orders and collaborate with physicians, nurses and other staff to manage patient plans.
